Dana Mead Intern

BARDA

This summer I interned at the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) in the Division of Research, Innovation, and Ventures (DRIVe). My projects included a market intelligence report on anti-fungal technologies as well as a review of vaccine adjuvants. I also conducted a policy review on US policy on personal health data in the field of wearables, remote monitoring technologies, and telemedicine. My internship was an incredibly rewarding experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from leaders in the COVID-19 pandemic response and experts in health policy.
